D Dr Joe Feeder Fish MFK Member Mar 8, 2006 10,664 9 0 73 Sixty Miles South of Tampa Florida Feb 17, 2009 #3 You have to worry some. If water runs off the stained area into the pond it will effect the water quality and in turn hurt the fish. If the stain is a waterproof stain after it's dry (cured?) you should be good to go. Make sure it's a non-chalking stain too. Dr Joe .
