I’ve seen pictures of a gold tinfoil barb with rich orange but I can’t find them for sale. Is the gold variant a real thing or is it just a really nice albino?

They used to be dime a dozen at petsmart for $2.99. Id get xanthic/gold there as well as albinos. The gold/brighter orange have regular eyes and black patches sometimes. Within the last few years im not sure what happened. Instead of being at the chain stores/mom n pop type places there now from more high end vendors going for stupid prices for gold, albino, platinum, snow etc… quite ridiculous lol… i bought them to cycle tanks for the better part of my life at $1.99-2.99
.. not sure who deemed them rare and expensive all of a sudden. Just have to shop around as the xanthic and albino are sold under all of those names listed. Just look for the regular/black eyes ones despite what there called.
