Hi to all :asianarow keepers...
Sometime when i turn on the aquarium lights, my aro's body appears abit hunched and both eyes drooped almost to 45 degrees downward, but just after a short while, its back to normal again... wats the cause of these? is it alrite for it to behave this way? did any of u guys experience this with ur aros? :help2:

hi,

its is normal for an aro to do that. he has to respond to the sudden change. need not worry about that.

usually we don't switch on the tank light first as it might cause your aro to go into panic mode if he is frighten. ;) to prevent this we on the room light first and then the tank lights. hope this helps.

Great tip. I do the same thing for my other fish, but I don't have an RTG....yet?

Personally i felt that it is stunned oso, but im not tat sure...

This is becos, i have noticed that sometimes if the surrounding is bright enough and i turn on the aquarium light, my rtg will appears fine. But if it is dark, then it will be like wat i had described earlier.

Thks all bros for the replies!

ya, my aro also do that if it is all dark, and i suddenly turn the lights on. i dont suggest u do that, instead on your room light 1st, then await a while before you on the tank lights.

thks for the advices guys! been doing tat since then and the aro looks fine everytime when i turn on th aquarium lights... : thumbsup:
