Hello I have a 55gal with sand and bog wood I am thinking of doing an amazonian theme and I love shovel nose catfishes is there one that can go in a 55

In my experience, Lima shovel nose grow very slow. You can probably get a small one and keep it for a year or so

Sorubim elongatus (false lima) get about 12" ans you could keep it in there for a while but it'd get to big long term. Sorubim lima (true lima) can get 18"+ so they're definitely to big and I wouldn't even chance growing one out.

Is there any other kinds because I was looking at a false lima but I was wanting to see if there is something else

You could get a lima and buy another tank or if you have one just set it up when it grows bigger.
