Is there a way to convert pictures?

Hi Everyone!

I have an Iphone that I take most of my fishy pictures with because it's convient. But when I post them to a thread it shows up as a link instead of an attachment. I was told that this may be because they are BMP pics. Is there a way to convert them to another format? Theres an app for everything under the sun, does anyone know if there is one for this? Or is there another easy way to convert them to something I can attach?

open them using Microsoft Paint, Save As a JPEG

sorry just realized you wanted to see if you could do this on the iPhone, i have no idea!

It's ok. I can do it on the computer. They all have to go onto the computer before I upload them here anyway.
