I would like a drilless overflow, does anyone know how this would work, or can it not be done, If it can please go in depth on how to get an overflow without drilling, maybe some links to where I can get the equipment and such.
I appreciate any and all help

just buy one hook it up to the tank, prime the overflow, and turn on your pump. thats all you need to do.[/QUOTE]

Yea see I dont know how they work, what do you mean by prime? I don't understand how the water flows down if there is no power to it.

prime means fill the whole thing with water.

It creates a siphon, that's how it pulls the water up and over the edge of the tank, gravity provides the power.

I understand the theory behind this but Ive always been concerned about matching the pump flow to the siphon. Not getting it right with a DIY, or if it changes for some reason I could see something disastrous happening. Am I just paranoid?

Did you bother watching the two videos in the sticky that I posted a link to?

You're paranoid. LOL

I'm kind of that way too sometimes as I don't want to flood my house, so I put two PVC overflows on my 210. That way if one can't handle the flow or fails the other is there to make up the difference.
