I was thinking of raising a Festae, Grammodes, and Zonatum in a 300 gallon tank. I have never had a Zonatum, but I have been seeing pictures and liked what I saw. Is there any chance that this could work or is that wishful thinking? I would landscape the tank well and perhaps throw in a few male convicts. Or would it be better trying Festae, Motaguense, and Zonatum with male convicts or Festae, Escondido, and Zonatum with a few male convicts. Would any of these combinations have a chance of working or should I choose other cichlids? All suggestion and advice would be appreciated.
