My GUESS is that the OP is asking if there are any known hybrid crosses that reliably produce attractive offspring. Is this the case? If these were smaller fish, I could see people spending more time on them. Frankly with the amount of money and time and SPACE these guys take up, though, the only hybrids that folks in the US are going to see REGULARLY in the hobby are going to be mono/ocells from Florida which frequently don't look like much, or the occasional unintended breeding between two species in a hobbyist's tank -- and many of those hobbyists are not well-prepared to raise OR ship any products of that spawn. If someone is going to spend that time and energy to INTENTIONALLY breed Cichla, I feel like they are going to focus on breeding the same species together.
