is there any nonagressive brackish puffer?

not really. there are less aggressive puffers. but not any that are classed as community fish. dont get attached to tankmates when you have puffers, when they snap it seriously hits the fan.

i do have a soft spot for puffers though... so i highly reccomend them to everyone. if they are prepared to take the plunge.

the least aggesive brackish puffer i can think of would be the Figure 8. they are generally nicer than most puffers, but can still have a mean streak. it all depends on the fish though, some are nicer than others. my GSP (different species but the same point applies) was fine with my common clown, fine with coral, even inverts. but most of the fish that went in ended up without a head.

bored puffers are also more likely to go on killing spree's. keep your occupied and it should behave. give it loads of decor, and re-arrange it now and then. this should decrease its boredom levels. also give your puffer loads of attention. they are really inteligent, so a little human/puffer interaction wont go amis either.

i love my puffers, they are the best fish i have ever owned. not that i have had a huge stock list in my 7+ years, but they are definitely my favorite and the most interactive i have ever had. one of my GSP actually pretty much rested itself in the palm of my hand one day i was messing with him. he came up to greet me home after work(i know hes not a dog but they come up to me when i turn the tank lights on after work) and seemed like he wanted to say hi, so i put my hand in the water and kind of cupped my hand fully submerged in the water and he pretty much went right into my hand and stayed there for a minute. it was crazy and never had that happen since, tried many times.

boss. all my gsp did when i put my hand in the tank was to try and bite me. i had to trap him in a bowl while i did remodeling ect.

it was my best mate when i was feeding him though :)
