I know of a great price on a lot of 20 200 watt heaters. They are all 5 years old, but all are in the original packaging. Should I be worried that they will fail? They will be in the sumps of all my tanks, so they shouldn't be knocked around too much. Thanks, Alex.

5 year old heaters seem very old even in its original packaging. I think heaters have come a long way from 5 years ago. It also depends on if they are from a quality company. I might buy them but you also should keep a eye on any failures when you use them. I don't know how many you are planning to use at once, maybe 1 or 2, but remember you will have 18 more getting older and older. Buyer beware. Just my .02 cents. The Doctor.
