is there any way to this 2 have eggs?

last couple of days my convict cichlids and other big white cichlids, made house in the little decoreting i have in the fish tank, and big white one wont let get anyother fishes in or around it, and little almost 2 inch convict is alwas in the decoretion, , this morning i found out they have eggs in there.
but these fish not same kind, is there any way they can have eggs together?

that white fish looks like a pink Con, so yes its possible. Also, cichlids have been known to date outside of there genus.......hahaha...

those both appear to be convicts so definitely possible

yea the "big white one" is a male pink convict, which is just another color morph of a convict, so the eggs are most likely fertile. when my regular striped cons breed, the fry are about a third pink and the rest normal. its all about genetics

all the eggs gone, what happend to them? any ideas? also i see my convicts carring little rocks to the outside from that decoration thing they layed eggs.
