my rays shipment took more than 2 days to get to my door, when i opened the package, 1 rays was really weak but ok, the other was on it's back. i manged to revive him. and now both are in my main tank. however the one that were on his back , even though he's breathing , he' snot moving much (it's been 24 hrs). i checked on him every couple hours and he would move from 1 place to another but i never see him move. the other ray was all over the tank looking for food and eating. the sick one would eat al little bit if the worm got blown to him but he wouldn't move at all to go find food. he just lay there breathing and i would never see him move or swim at all , i usually stay there and observe for about 15 min .
ray experts, is he sick? is there anything ican do?
i have my lights off
thanks

Keep what you are doing....you're on the right track. Poor critter came in a bda shape. Hope it pulls through...

Sounds like he took quite a beating in shipping... whether it was ammonia or temperature or O2 starvation, it sounds like the little guy had quite the bad trip. Keep it dark, constantly provide blackworms, and keep the temp at maybe 83, or a bit higher. Some would say to add salt, 2-4lbs / 100 gallons, but I honestly haven't had enough experience to add anything there. Best of luck with the little guy!

In addition to what people have mentioned I would perhaps add a powerhead for more O2 exchange and circulation. If feeding is an issue try using a turkey baster to send more worms his way. Hope it works out, please keep us updated!
