Is there anything special i should do before moving most of my fish from the 360gallon to the 240?

I'll be bumping the temp to 84 so the temps will be the same.
I'm taking my filter from the 360gallon and putting it onto the 240.
the 240gallon will have the 360gallons filter + another wet/dry.

The only thing that worries me is I have those stupid white worms that I cant seem to get rid of. should I put the water from the 360gallin into the 240 also?

Just making sure I have everything down to perfection so I dont loose 2grand + worth of fish.

Everything sounds fine. Check your levels in both tanks, if your nitrogen KH or GH is dramatically different in either tank, then use the old tank water. If the parameters are fairly close, then just move the fish. The worms aren't anything to worry about, and given some small fish, they will be gone very quickly.

i agree. and i wouldnt be to concerned with the white worms either assuming they are planaria. some small tetras should do the trick. cutting back on feeding has helped me in the past too as i believe they feed on left over food??

Where does those white worms come from?!?!?

i have 2 oscars in the tank and some times they dont eat all the food. so i'm guessing they come from left over food or something idk. I have a small convict in there 1" that they cant catch so i'm guessing hes eating all those worms :)

thanks guys
