I have a black male and Pearl female pair. They laid eggs on Xmas Eve morning. Not too sure what happened but came home from a party and most of the eggs were gone and the male was beating on the female. I noticed the males bars were faded almost like yellowish. Is he mad or sick? His bars haven't came back and pretty much been on a rampage since last night.
Is there something wrong with my convict?

Sounds like he is taking the dead eggs out on the female. I'd separate them before he kills her
