Is there a pleco that stays in the 12 -14 inche range as a full grown healthy adutl, but is black or black and whit in coloration, yet are readily available ?

L048 should be fairly easy to get hold of, they are great plecs, nice and active

I dunno. IME, scobis tend to be hard to come across in the states.

haha, mine didn't come from pier, but they do normally have some huge ones in.
L048 isn't on the banned list so should be obtainable

what would be some common names that L048 can be sold by.

I know L253 can be called Pario Ancistrus

also what is a good diet for this particua pleco?
