from the help i got on my id thread about the same fish i would say yes it is. looks like mine but mine has more yellow. these suckers are hard to find for me :( i was lucky to find one at this size and parasite free, only down size mines was heavidly nipped.
 
It looks kinda like one, but it almost looks like a hybrid to me, maybe it just the picture but the face shape looks a little different and the colors arent quite right. I could be totally wrong though.
 
i would say it is a female :D looks just like this female to me..and i want her....lol

I agree, before I even got to BarroomHero's reply I was thinking the same thing. It just doesn't look quite right. The face doesn't look right to me either.

Yeah. It's face shape looks very mbuna-like to me
 
you know one thing i did notice is the eye is not as large.. maybe we need some more pics.. every pic gives us more clues..

Exactly what I was thinking. I have seen a striped mbuna (I have no clue what it was because I wasn't interested) at a LFS here...It looked very much like the fish pictured.
