possible?

Oh by no means do i believe it but of course i'm no TSN expert either.. It looks like a small tank in the pics he has on the ad. I think he's :screwy: or full of :bs:

Tiny...

:idea::ROFL:

This is not even close to being a Truth as eve if it was a "male and Female" Which could only be figured out using an imaging device (ultra sound, X-ray etc) or surgery/disection (death) they are still to young and small to be sexually mature... they would be well over the 2' mark at the MIN as they would need to be around 2-3 years of age.

Just another Perfect Example of what kind of CRAP stories are told on sales sites like CL

To the best of my knowledge catfish don't "pair" for one - they just scatter eggs and hope some survive.

I've also heard TSN's are some of the most aggressive catfish out there, and in any fish mood becomes more violent with breeding season.

There are TSN hybrids out there, so I'd imagine it's doable - but don't see it happening in anything short of a few thousand gallons worth of water?

EDIT: There could also be somthing else in this guys tank that's doing the egg laying and he's just mistaking it for the TSN - though I don't know what with those kinds of predators living in there.
