Hi everyone, I am fairly new to cichlids and recently got this beautiful fish from a local pet store. They called him/her a large convict cichlid, he/she is only about 3 inches long right now. I would really appreciate if someone could tell me what species of fish this is as it doesn't look much like a convict cichlid to me. I was thinking it could be a frontosa possibly but I really don't know,
also if anyone knows the sex of this fish I would love to know that as well. Thank you for your help in advance!
