Hey guys, I have been looking to get another 125g+ tank and saw a 150g on craigslist. The guy is selling the full setup, but has priced everything separately. He overpriced the tank, but I was curious if his price on the wet/dry filter was decent?

It is a "Pro Clear Aquatic System (up to 260g) wet/dry filter" for $300. Is that a good price. Unfortunately I don't know yet if that includes the pump, plumbing, and media. So, if it doesn't include the other stuff what is a decent price, and then if it does include everything what is a good price? Thanks.
 
doesnt sound like a deal to me sounds like 20% off of brand new price. 1$ per gallon is the going rate for a glass tank on craigslist $1.5-$2 for acrylic depending on condition.
 
Yeah the tank is definitely overpriced, he wants $500 for the tank, stand, and lights (nothing special, just regular lights). Then he wants another $300 for the wet/dry filter.
 
If the wet/dry includes the return pump, media, and overflow, then $300 woukd be on the high side but fair. Though you could build your own DIY wet/dry for about half that price.
