Is this a decent skimmer?

Wonder if this will be a good skimmer for a 150gallon FOWLR with only one porcupine puffer in it.
I haven't gotten the tank yet, and my pockets aren't too full.
Is this a genuine octopus model?

I'd say it's a little small for that tank. That looks like a really old reef octopus skimmer.

You will need a bigger skimmer. I would go with either a Super Reef Octopus or a Reef Dynamics skimmer. Buy the biggest and most expensive skimmer you can afford. You can't over skim a FOWLR system
