I have not kept aros but the regularity and placement of the spots does not look like any disease I have ever seen or even heard of. My guess would be sensory pits.

The first pic looks like normal sensory nodes I see on many aros. The 2nd pic looks like a slight contusion that these fish easily get from jumps or hitting filter pipes while striking at food or getting spooked.
