Is this a Electric Blue Jack Dempsey?

Hello guys,

Just bought a fish from a private seller 2 days ago, he said it was a EBJD, bought it and now he is in my aquarium with my tapajos and 3 polys.
My question is if this is a real EBJD or not, since I saw in the forum that real ones dont have that orange line on top of the body.

He just has a bit more red in him which is a color that regular jds have

No, I went to grab him, he made a 300km trip in a car, 4hours +or-.

These guys just don't travel well .. recently I got 4 of them ..2 were shiped and one looks just like yours with the messy eyes...I actually have 7 ebjd right now.. 3 are less then 2 inches and 4 are over 3 inches

I added light blue sand to my aquarium which was black like yours.. the black makes them.show the navy blue color more ..adding the blue made them show the lighter colors a little more

I never had one, or cichlids at all, but I find his eyes a little weird, but my glass is a crap can't take good photos with all those scratches.

Yours look amazing, and they don't have that orange strip like mine has, maybe mine isnt really a ebjd xD
