Oh no it's not. But the one in 3rd picture is right? These pictures belong to Evo. Not mine pix or fish.

Well Im actually asking about the pink one. Im wondering what specific kind it is and how do the females look like so I can find one. One is good enough right or do i need more?

I will post pictures of my actual fish when I find the charger.

thanks

thank u. I just know it's a peacock, but dont know which peacock. So what is crossed to make the Fire fish? Really nice cross. I bought one on impulse. They look different. I used to have africans but don't know the variants.

I have 1 Fire fish now.

so it's a peacock w/no peacock in it?

Who knows nowadays, a firefish is just a line bred fish...aulonocara is just a trade name...there is no real scientific class for it I believe

you could be right, but using the word aulonocara, and I think looks like what we call a peacock,it probably has peacock in it.definitely a hybrid and of course line bred, but not too much because there is a lot of variations in these fish.I bred a white base s.b. w/ same female and got small% grey/blue head.there is also a yellow base producing a more orange color fish, white base being more pure red colored.it is somewhat mysterious but the person who made it was good!
