heres the scoop. i purchesed this little bugger at about an inch or so in length browsing around petsmart.

they have their flowerhorn tank clearly labelled as well as the red texas tank.

this guy/gal was actually in the midas tank by its lonesome.

i knew for a fact it wasn't a midas and it had to be misplaced from the red texas tank so i bought it for like 8$

its been a few months and has developed to be quite the character.

and from the reserch ive done snooping around mfk ive come to the conclusion its a segrest "red texas"

any thoughts? male/female?

sorry about the sideways video!

some type of Flowerhorn Texas Cichlid variant... Possibly female judging by the darker markings but not 100% sure.

thats like 10x better than the Fhs at my petsmarts FHs.

It looks like it has a lot of vejia in it.

so cool! That thing is gonna be raging psycho when he gets bigger. I wouldn't say flowerhorn.

thanks for the replies folks! im pretty stoked on growing this one out.

for 4 inches its already pretty beastly, i cant wait till its full blown!

right now im feeding it hikari gold and frozen blood worms. and occasionally ill throw it an algae wafer.

anymore more thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated! thanks again.
