Not sure if this is a fungus. It almost looks like a pigment issue, but it has
gotten a little worse. It isn't white and stringy/cottony. It is almost
appears to be a very light grayish.
I know that Binox is only for a gram positive fungus, so I didn't know if I should
go with marycin/marycinII combo if it is. Or just try salt for now.
This only appears on the top and not around the edges or underside of disc.
He is eating great. Actually he is a friggin hog.

Params are as follows:

Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 5
I do 30-40% WC every 3-4 days.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Actually bout 6.5". Be 3 months in 2 days. Did not know the got growth marks.

a little salt wont hurt ;)

Usually if it is a fungus problem I think they scrape up against the glass, rocks, gravel alot but not sure about that type, I know the pimafix and melafix work pretty good if used in smaller doses I did a full dose of each befor and the fish seemed a bit stresses but if i use small quantities when they get scraped up it works good to heal the wounds so they dont get infected...

Thanks everyone, If it appears to get any worse I will try a little salt as a tonic just to be safe.
