I am planning on doing a planted tank in my 125. I was told to get 2 36 inch Deep Blue solarmax H.E. double light 10,000k daylight 420 true actinic moon lights. I was wondering if this are worth the money, and I am planing on the double light in case the planted thing doesn't workout I still will have good lights for a normal tank.

if you are wanting to do a planted tank i would recommend changing out one if not both of the 10,000k lights for 6,700 lights, but as for the actual fixture i have no experience with it., i am running a Hagen Glo fixture that is 36" long and has two bulbs. so far it is working quite well on my 46gal bowfront which i believe is as deep as a 125
