no pics but right now i have a 48 inch actinic blu 40 watt and a 24 inch ge plant and aquarium bulb on my tank middle of the tank is bright and the sides are blu yah know anyone done this before

If this is a freshwater tank you're talking about:
Soon your sides will be green.
Actinic - not a good idea unless you want algae

Going to need some pics. The light does sound like it will provide for algae growth.
