Is this a good mix?

180 or 240 gallon tank with 2 salvini's(Pair), 1 buttikoferi, 1 midas/devil?
Do you think the salvini's will be ok? If I do buy them, they will all be about 2 inches!

I would suggest getting fish that are about all the same size and let them all grow up together. All about trial and error man, it might work and it might not.

With a Midas/Devil there is no way to tell if any other fish will ever work out well. Some are just so aggressive it doesn't matter how much space you give them, they just won't tolerate tankmates. Others are fine with other fish around. If you are dead-set on a midas/devil, choose one you like and be prepared to have a 240 with only one fish in there.

It's really gonna be hit or miss with any cichlid combo. Things may work for awhile or possibly not at all. I'd say try it but either be ready to add tanks as necessary, or don't get too attached and let go of any troublesome fish.
