Found a used Eheim 2217 for $80 . . that a good deal for a used canister? Looking to put it on a 120g tank that has a wet/dry & ac110 & magnum 350. Wanna replace the magnum -noisy and not very "user friendly"

Well, you will need media. It is a great filter though and they last for decades. Its up to you personally I would do it.The substrate pro is really expensive but the ehfi substrat is on clearance at DR fosters I just ordered a bunch. The regular maintenance items (polishing pad and course pad) are surprisingly cheap.
