Price is OK, but find out how old the fish are because apistos have short life spans that can become a bit longer in captivity.

That's a pretty steep price even in Hawaii where everything is high. The only thing that matters is if you feel comfortable paying $50 for the trio.

^ Exactly. If you were willing to pay $50 for a trio then you must have felt it was a fair price, otherwise you wouldn't have paid it. If you are happy with the fish and you didn't put yourself into any kind of financial pickle by spending that amount of money on them, what else matters?
