Is this a good price?

My lfs here has had this gar, im pretty sure its a spotted gar, but its for 36.99, about..... 10" give or take. but yeah is that a good price for one that size?

well now that i look at the different gars, it might be a tropical? I think I need to get a picture next time i go

If it's a tropical it's a steal as they're hard to find... probably spotted/florida and not a bad price..

its probably a florida. id bet my fish on it that it's not a trop. if its a florida thats about an average going rate for one depending on location. i think i got mine a 12-13 inches and he was $40.

Hey demjor19, wouln't it be a spotted since she is in Florida? In my state, they can't sell native species of the state at pet stores. Of course I don't know if the rules apply in Florida.

if they are captured and sold out of state, i dont see why they couldnt capture them and sell them within the state. also not all lfs go by the book.
