I might be getting a ProClear Aquatic System (sump). The model is for the 75 gallon, rated at 300 GPH. The dimensions are 19.75 x 8.75 x 21"H and the bio area is around 2.4 gallons. The price I'm getting it for is $50.

I know its that that big of a sump but It should help with my filtration system for my 180 gallon.

LMK what you think. Thanks!

I currently have 4 HOB filters on my 180 gallon.
2 rated at 400 GPH, 1 rated at 330 GPH and one small one at around 100 GPH and 3 Powerheads moving around 600+ GPH.

I don't think the sump would replace more than one of your HOBs. I would either put that $50 towards a decent canister or build your own sump. A basic sump is very easy to build, and you can easily adjust biomaterial volume and flow rate in a DIY sump.

alright thanks for the input.

I just got one of those for free. They don't look like they'll do a whole lot. Go with a DIY wet/dry
