Hello. I am trading my 2 large oscars (which are a pair) and a gold saum green terror for a texas cichlid (blue), blue acara, jack dempsey, and gibby pleco. I know I am more than happy with the deal. I was wondering if this is a good trade, considering the value, or otherwords $$$$$$.
I'll have pics of these guys when they come. He said they were all medium sized so I am anqious to see how big they all are. The jack dempsey id 6-7'' so he'll go in the 150.

IMO if your getting what you want out of the deal and are happy with it, Its a good deal
Thanks, my parents are saying the same, I just wanted to make sure it would match the $$$..

You might be a little ahead in terms of dollars if the fish were to sell at a LFS, but it's pretty close. You're not trading gold for copper, if that's what you're wondering.

It's not always about money ;)

I persay would call it a very good trade!

Exactly. If you are happy with the new fish and feel that you are getting a fair amount in exchange for your fish; its a perfect deal.

Remember, what something is worth is relative. The market may set a price, but the individual must decide if it is worth that much to them.

I like it... the texas came in perfect shape... he is perfect... nice and pretty colors..
jd is nice as well.
acara little beaten up but I'll heal him with my magic
gibby pleco is nice... but I'm not a pleco fan.

Plecos are gross. Big ones create more waste than they clear. I only use BSN or Clown plecos.

Texas can be men. Does he rule the tank?
Yes. The guy said he was docile, don't look it to me... he beats the crap out of the acara.
