I bought 5 nice sized fish today from my LFS - they were 3 - 5 inches and were identified as Honduran Red Points. However as I begin to try to identify them through photos they look like some sort of Thorichthys to me.

Anyone got an idea?

thanks in advance

Yeah a Nic or maybe something from the Aequidens genus??

HRPs look like convicts. I don't see how the LFS screwed up that bad.

To be honest, the poor lady working there wasn't sure. She went through a process of elimination and elimated everything else in the tank. There were a nice size and good looking, so for $4.49 each I got them.

Headshape is differant, not an acara. I would agree on the Nic.
