Is this a HYPO alligator snapping turtle?

Is it just a light color normal one? The skin is pale yellowish white but the shell is reddish brown, getting lighter and lighter. It was kept outdoor for 5 years.

Yikes! I saw my 1st alligator snapper today at a bait shop. He was only about 7" around but he was real light colored like that, too. Kinda' spooky looking.
 
Id say 80% chance thats a hypo.

Actually found a hypo American toad a few weeks ago here in northern Virginia, she's bright red and now residing at the nature center I work at, her name is Sarah!
 
yes definitely a HYPO. markings on the paws show it and color as well.
