ok, hope this is easy to try to say.. Ok my 150 has a crack in the top trim; I have never noticed till last night. there is no water coming out of it to the visible eye. but if you feel right under the crack, it feels wet, hardly wet, i had to actually rub it on my arm to feel the water; as rubbing my finger together I was unsure.( if that makes since). coincidence that this crack in trim is right under were the seal of the side panel of glass is siliconed to the front panel. So with no visible water and the wetness feel centered around that seal all the way down to about mid way of the tank I am worried it may not be seeping out of crack but, seeping from seam of tank. it is odd though cause the wetness never makes it to the bottom of the tank; only about half way. I can not see the water actually lowering in the tank. I could turn my sponge filter and air stone off, but still i doubt i will see. What would yall do. my tank is pretty stocked for a 150 but i do have a 125 on the way in a trade deal prior to this. if this is a leak is it resealable or do you think it is the out seal actually hold the glass together... urghh so confused and worried.

On many tanks the top trim piece is only siliconed in a few places. That is why one should always pick up a tank by the bottom. To tell if your tank is leaking, put a piece of dry newspaper on the area where you think it is leaking. If the paper gets wet, you have a leak.
If you do have a leak near the top, just lower the water level in the tank a bit.

since i last posted, i cleaned all water up and it was bone dry, i just checked and it is only wet right under the trim were the crack is, my sponge and ait stone make the water splash in that exact area. but not water down the edges. wonder if it is indeed the trim and were i took me long to find it it just bubbles up and finally leaks out a little, idk

small cracks in the plastic can wick water, since you already moved the bubbler, prop the top a bit so it doesn't touch the trim in that area.

lower the water level , just a little , I have a 48" tank that leaks around the trim when it is filled all the way ,, when I drop the water level 1/4 of an inch it goes bone dry around the leak...so its got to be a bad seal around the trim,,you probably have something similar going on.......
