Is this a male? (Crenicichla cincta)

Hey folks, got my new C. cincta yesterday. Fish is in excellent condition, kudos to the aquarium

Just need to have the sex of this fish, I'm guessing a male? any idea? I dont see a white line on the dorsal, what about you?

I just got a big pair tuesday as well, I placed them in a divided tank and what I think is my female immediately started trying to get at the male and developed a large white patch on her belly just like my big atabapo 1 female,. i will have to check them out some more and post pics. Very nice fish my friend...
