Definitely a Mayan... cichlasoma Urophthalmus.
The give away is the black circular blotch on the tail which extends across the width of the tail

yes it is. The eye spot on the tail of a Festae is much smaller and located in the upper 1/2 of the tail.
Yes, a real pretty one - maybe something else in it as well, but could be - definitely not a Festae in my opinon
