is this a motoro?

was at the petstore recently, and saw this group of motors. the fish to the very left, is this a motoro? the base color looked blacker than brown, so i thought perhaps it is a hybrid? or do motoros at this young stage change color, and can take on a blacker base depending on mood and environment?

Looks like a hybrid to me...probably BDxMotoro. If it's a good price, I'd grab it. Will probably turn out nice.

It's really too variable to predict. From my experience, rays just keep looking better with age. Most BD hybrids seem to get blacker with age, and the spots tend to get lighter and break up. No telling though
