IS THIS A NEW BREED

[SUMMERBUTTERFLY]

My 7" green texas (male) mated with my 6" flowerhorn( female). I only have one baby that didn't become a feeder. Can someone let me know if it's a new breed

it looks like hes about to lock lips and get the crap kicked out of him by a fish 2x's his size

as for a new species, i think it would just be classified as a "hybrid"... not sure though

Yup that is just a flowerhorn with 1 more species added to the cocktail cute fish anyway.

They are right it is a hybrid and the mix has been done befor. Still it should turn into a good looking fish though
