Is this a normal dempsey?

Hi everyone i was just wondering is my dempsey a normal one or some type of hybryd? I've had this fish for 1yr half , I bought it 2" now its 6 to 7" very nice fish. The reason i'm asking cause I never seen one with purple, burgady color tail. I'm also not sure of the sex I think its a she but not sure. This fish is beutiful really nices one I ever saw.

thanks it just I never seen one with those purple colors I even look thru the photo bucket and seem like the body shape but not that color thank once again

looks normal to me . mine change colors alot , often showing nice burgundy hues .

na thats her color all the time and she the dominate one in the tank
