my sarasa goldfish since this morning is displaying this behavior: rapid swimming to the surface to grab air bubbles then it releases them through the gills and mouth.

i have not tested my water conditions ,but the tank is cycled . i started it since may 2022 , the sarasa goldfish was occasionally displays some white spots in his tail but rapidly disappears , they are very active and eat very well , i feed them twice daily with sera color goldy pellets and sera royal koi small pellets .

i can't treat ich right now because i treated them with colombo lernex pro 3 weeks ago to eliminate flukes because they were rubbing themselves againt the powerhead instake and the gravel , so i have to wait another week .

this evening i made a water change : 25 liters with water conditioner ( the tank is a 130 liter with top filter that contaiins 2.5 kg of regular ceramic rings and 2 pads of filter floss) + 24/7 air stone bar .

please can anyone tell if i have to worry or not about my goldfish ?

Is there any food at the top?
Usually they will make quick darts then quickly head back down to avoid being seen by predators.

pellets were there also airstone bubbles . my mother told me that my sisters goldfish was behaving in a similar way and that it was normal but ias i love them so much , i can't let them be harmed by anything.

i bought a common and a sarasa juveniles (only 2 cm approx ) and in 6 months or so they have grown so much :)

They like to play with bubbles sometimes. Probably nothing to be worried about, but keep an eye on it for the next while just to be sure there's no other symptoms.

PS - your tank is much, much too small for sarasa goldfish, or ANY of the comet-type goldies. Are you planning to upgrade? Because unless you will move them into a 6ft long tank, sarasa goldfish really shouldn't even be kept in tanks.

i could move them to a 75 gallon tank but for now they have to stay in the 130 liters untill i provide them with a diy indoor pond.

my 75 gallon will house near 26 mbunas
