Is this a platinum royal?

would like your thoughts on exact species of this pleco, my new addition to my 125 gallon tank.

Yah I’d really like to know if it is a platinum or if maybe he’s sick that’s why he’s so light in color?? I’m not sure he’s my first royal pleco. The other royal at the pet store was half the size but looked like a normal royal pleco.

I've seen royals turn that color upon dropping them into the tank. How long have you had it?
