Is this a red terror? (Festae)

Got this guy to grow out in a 75 gallon. Only about 1.5 - 2 inches. Sold as a red terror, but it seems to me the vertical stripes are not as visible as they should be from pics I've seen online? Any thoughts from experienced Festae fans? Thanks very much in advance.

Here's a young festae to compare, vertical are not always present, they come and go with mood, status, or tank mates, even in adults.
I had an adult female that (if a male was not present) looked like below.

Could you get a little better picture? I see a spot and faint bars a few spangles and just a hint of red on the fins. All these are festae traits but some cichlids share these at this size.
Best guess from the picture is it is Festae
