I was given a couple of days ago. The length is about 2.5". I am guessing it is a male, it has been hanging with my 3.00"+ Salvini. Any info appreciated, I have never had any Parachromis before. I understand they are all crazy aggressive. Apologize for the lousy photos. It has a strong spot pattern across unpaired fins. Thanks in advance for info. I was told it is a RTM.

To me it looks like a female, I have some now, they are easily sexable at 3"....no spots on the gill plate female, spots male..as for the red tiger variety I don't know

Nice little RTM...its at the point where you should soon make an undisputed ID on the sex..i tend to think it being male...but would not bet my paycheck just yet....as already mentioned look for continued development of spots on the gill plate and spots developing on the dorsal anal and caudal fins...here is a pic of mine when small....
