I recently just bought two red head geos out of a group of 10 and once i got home i noticed one was much shorter than the other one, is it a short body or no?

Interesting. Tough to tell. None of my 5 RH Tapajos carry their weight all the way through the body like that. Definitely could be.

Educate me on this...is short body geo's a desirable mutation/morph? Just asking because I've never heard of it.

Short-bodied fish are not a "morph," they are technically a cull, usually because of a short/deformed spine. IMO those genetics should not be encouraged in the gene pool.

I'm also trying to breed my RH's and I've thought about this. Being such prolific breeders, this is bound to be something that happens. At what point is their such in-breeding and genetic stagnation that things like this occur?

Could we conceivably see a day where the RH's start not having red heads or as vibrant red heads?

I guess at that that point the desirability of wild F1's will skyrocket.

have to agree with that, I would hate to see "balloon geo Tapajos" in stores one day
