I think it's a false siamese algae eater..:)

A true Siamese Algae Eater has a black lateral line that goes all the way to the end of it's tail.

Yeah ... sometimes that's a washed out though and only appears when they've been in the tank for a little while.

I have an idea what that is, I got one very similar in the plant tank where i worked. Sent its pic to a few people and the concensus was that it was a blue fintop minnow (Lucania goodei) Page 566 Baensch atlas vol1. Mine was probably female never found another seems they come in as eggs on plants.

I think your right jona. I googled Lucania goodei and came up with bluefined killifish. According too the site that i was looking at, they said these fish are native too Florida and i remember catching something like these in my back yard (has a big pond/lake). So i went out netting and caught this two and they look very simular. So yeah i guess what i got with my ghost shrimp are Lucania goodei....

You punk you went fishing without me while I had to go to school all day!!! EVIL!!!!!!! Sooo did yah keep them!?

Glad i solved that one, the giveaway is that their tail is not forked like algae eaters and the dark band is really a zig zag line and not solid, also the mouth shape and placement are totally different.
mine was real nice but never managed to find another of them for breeding.
