Is this a Texas?

I bought him as a "Taguar" the man said he thinks it's a Texas but has some jaguar characteristics. I can see what he's saying but am not sure.

Yah I was hoping he was a real Texas but his head shape and teeth throw me off.

Hard to tell that's part of the problem with cross breeding.

I first saw these about 20 years ago, back then, they called them Texaguense.

I have 6 little ones I'm growing out with 2 king Midas, red isaletus, oscar, and a female convict. They will fill another 125.

Wow what a stunner. Definitely a bit more oomph than a standard Texas. My first impressions would be a Red Texas attempt there too because of the pronounced sparkles, but then the head shape is a throw off. Hmm. Anyway, what a beauty! I want one!

They even claimed the taguar was from the same parents. Someone bought one then brought it back some time later.
