Is this a true synspila or a cross?

This vieja was sold from a lfs labeled as red texas, haha. I see vieja but no texas?But it also seems like maybe a hybrid??? Please help.
that looks like a pure Synspillum. He looks like a really nice fish even though all tore up. Beautiful colors.

Thanks animal guy, but take a look at his her black line forgot what its called but it looks like they are circled in blue just like red terrors or fh??? Any input? And this vieja has blue eyes and I have two other veijas syns which have gold eyes is there a difference????
a beat up vieja male synspilum, if i were you hes so nice i would get him and treat him, it looks real showy

Dale, what ever it is, it's a beautiful fish! Please change the stock in your tank so this guy can grow to full potential! I would really like to see it in a few months after you've fattened it up a bit. Look forward to the pics in the future.
Hybrid. Synspilum don't have the black down the middle of the body like that.
In synspilum the dark coloration has a curve and tends to follow the belly, terminating well before the gill plate.
