is this a wolfish? ID pls

I have a chance to pick up this guy, i wanted to know what he actually was before i got him.

LFS say he is a freshwater lionfish

no it's not a wolf.

It looks like a stonefish but I could be wrong.

that's not a wolf fish, i think it's something they call water cow? brackish i think.

its a grunting toadfish

its a freshwater stonefish / toadfish. dont touch it, it is venomous.

they are brackish but do well in freshwater also.

Grunting toad fish. Needs brackish and fairly hard to keep alive.
